Eric McManus, a Northern Irish retired footballer, played as a goalkeeper for Tranmere Rovers during the period of July 1986 to December 1986. He made 9 appearances for Tranmere Rovers during this time in the First Division. McManus also had a notable career playing for clubs such as Coventry City, Notts County, Stoke City, and Bradford City before joining Tranmere Rovers. After his playing career, he served as the Former Supervisor for Football in the Community at Bradford City and Head of Youth Scouting at Walsall until October 2008.
